The Brief
Cranium is an award winning hairdressing salon in the popular north Sydney suburb of Manly. Cranium had recently undergone a new store fit-out an they wanted their online presence to have the same appeal for online visitors as their retail premises has on passing foot traffic. The old website was an outdated design that just wasn’t reflecting the salons style. The old booking system didn’t work effectively and the content wasn’t updated which lead to an out of date site, not at all reflecting the salon in an accurate light.
Solution
We were able to design a site that reflected their recently renovated salon to enable their online presence to be as eye catching as their retail premises in the heart of Mainly. Working with over 4000km between us, we successfully managed to collaborate on the site via web meetings, phone and emails. The inclusion of a CMS system to keep content up-to-date, and an online appointment form enabled client to conveniently choose their preferred hairdresser, and a wide range of service options.
By focusing on improving the SEO, we were able to have the salon display on the first page of a wide range of search terms. This greatly increased the effectiveness of the website which lead to an increase in online enquiries.
